SPECTRAFLOW ONLINE ANALYZERS
Accurate, 24/7 online, instant measurements...

GOLD INDUSTRY

SPECTRAFLOW CROSSBELT ANALYZER: An online NIR sensor designed to analyze coarse ROM material directly on a conveyor belt (On-belt coarse material sensor).
The Crossbelt Analyzer features a user-friendly design that allows quick, non-invasive installation above the conveyor. Its eight halogen light sources supply sufficient energy to capture absorption spectra from run-of-mine (ROM) materials with wide and highly variable particle size distributions.

SPECTRAFLOW AIRSLIDE ANALYZER: A flagship solution for analyzing finely ground material in an airslide.
The Airslide Analyzer is engineered to support higher measurement accuracy throughout the process chain and to minimize reliance on laboratory analyses for process control. It provides constituent measurements down to ppm levels in fine materials conveyed to and from mills, furnaces, and smelters.

GOLD INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS
Gold roasting is a treatment method used for refractory ores and concentrates that contain sulphide sulphur, organic carbon, and in some cases arsenic. The elimination of these constituents is essential to obtain high gold recovery rates, typically exceeding 90%, during the cyanide leaching stage.

During roasting, process temperature is maintained through oxygen injection and the intrinsic energy content of the ore, which is primarily determined by its carbon and sulphur levels. For stable and efficient roaster operation, accurate knowledge of these concentrations is required. SpectraFlow is able to directly analyze and differentiate between carbonate carbon (CO₃) and total carbon matter (TCM), as well as between sulphide sulphur (S²⁻) and total sulphur. In addition, inorganic elements such as arsenic can also be measured.
