Standard flat jet nozzles are the most common spray nozzle type offering very wide options for materials, flow rate, connection, spray angle, different accessories. These nozzles generate almost ''V FORM'' spray formation as it sprays. The simple design, easy availability and cost effectiveness make the flat jet spray nozzles widely preferred ones providing a solution in most cases. The proper surface and orifice finish guarantee the maximum efficiency, uniformity and accurate spray width. The connection options are threaded, dovetail, quick-fit or quick-connect and swivel joint.

It is also called as Tongue Type nozzles. The nozzle orifice is combined with the extension of the nozzle body in the shape of a spoon. The spray formation is deflected with respect to liquid feed axis. The main difference of the spray compared to standard flat jet nozzles is that the thickness of the liquid jet is thicker and more stable generating higher impact on the surface the liquid sprayed on to.
The thicker spray reaches longer distances without broken into small droplets.

FULL CONE NOZZLES - AXIAL FULL CONE - SINGLE ORIFICE - Round spray (Conical)

The axial flow single orifice full cone nozzles form a conical shape form that covers the complete surface. This type is accepted as the most common standard one in the full cone nozzle family. The wide option for materials, flow rates, spray angles and connections make these nozzles quite preferable where the conical spray formation is demanded.
The axially fed liquid is swirled inside the nozzle body by the help of specially machined X-insert, slotted disc or S-vanes so that the liquid is shaped full conical just after it leaves the nozzle orifice.

The round full cone spray nozzle can be converted to a pyramid (or, square projection on the surface) by a special design of the nozzle orifice section. Orifice looks like a duck-bill which help to form the full pyramid spray formation. The pyramid form turns right or left as the spray height is increased or decreased. These nozzles are specially demaded where the precise limitations are prerequisite for the application.

FULL CONE - AXIAL FLOW - MULTIPLE ORIFICES

The body structure of the multiple orifice spray nozzles is bigger than common full cone nozzle types. It contains minimum 2 or more orifices in one body. Since the same amount of liquid is divided into smaller orifices, it creates finer droplets compared to the same flow rate single orifice full cone nozzles. The small droplets can be achieved in low pressures i.e. even 1 bar. It is highly recommended to use a line filter due to the risk of orifice clogging.

FULL CONE - TANGENTIAL FLOW - SINGLE ORIFICE

flow rate ranges @ 3 bar 2,30 - 122 lpm
spray angle ranges 60 - 120 degrees
pressure ranges 1 - 7 bars

The spray formation is the same as the axial feed full conical spray nozzles but the body and the feed line is different. The liquid enters the nozzle body from the side (90° deflections with respect to nozzle orifice), and it turns inside the body by the effect of centrifugal forces, finally it leaves the orifice in the form of full cone spray. The orifice is machined in a separate part called as the mouthpiece that can be removed. The flow rate is not only adjusted by orifice itself but also the inner orifice from which liquid enters into the nozzle body. Since there is no insert to create the swirl effect, these nozzles are quite resistant to clogging.

HOLLOW CONE - AXIAL FLOW - SINGLE ORIFICE - Circular spray

flow rate ranges @ 3 bar 0,2 - 94 lpm
spray angle ranges 60 - 180 degrees

The liquid is fed in the axial direction for this type hollow cone nozzles. The spray formation is conical but the inner side of the cone has no liquid. The spray formation when it touches the surface being treated is circular only. The liquid distribution in the circular form is very uniform. The inner surface of the spray form with fine droplet creates a large contact area therefore these nozzles are commonly used in gas treatment applications. The specially machined S-groove insert inside the body is mainly the key element to form the hollow cone.

HOLLOW CONE - TANGENTIAL FLOW - SINGLE ORIFICE - Circular spray

The spray formation is conical without any liquid inside the cone. The main difference is the body shape and feed line direction which is 90° deflected with respect to nozzle spray orifice. The body has also an inner orifice that is located eccentric to create centrifugal rotation to form the hollow cone spray. Since there is no additional internal piece inside the body, these nozzles are resistant to clogging.

As its name implies, the spray forms in the shape of ellipse cone. Compared to standard conical full cone nozzles, these ones have higher impact values on the spray which hits the surface being treated. The spray orifice is machined with special tools to get an ellipse spray pattern. Since it covers a large area and having high impact value, it can be commented as these nozzles are the combination of flat jet and full cone nozzles.

SPIRAL NOZZLES

When very fine liquid droplets are required for an application, double fluid atomizers are the main nozzles to be chosen. The spray generates very fine droplets event at low liquid pressures.
The double fluid nozzles work under the principle of collision of two different fluids (they are water and compressed air in most cases). The pressurized air hits the liquid and creates a scissor effect to break the water into fine droplets. The collision can be performed just before or after the spray nozzle orifice.

The working principle can be divided into 3 categories as follows;
1.- compressed air + pump (pressure principle)
2.- compressed air + free fall water (gravity principle)
3.- compressed air + water suction (suction principle)
In case of gravity principle, the water tank is located at a higher level from the nozzle,
In case of suction principle, the water tank is located at a lower level from the nozzle.

The collision (or, mixing) of the two fluid can be held inside the spray nozzle, then it is called as Internal Mix atomizers, if the collision happens just after outside of the spray orifice, it is then called External Mix atomizers.

It is quite complicated to select the right principle and atomizer for the application, our experts will help to the customers to make the right decision.

ULTRASONIC ATOMIZERS

flow rate ranges 0,02 - 2,15 lpm

Ultrasonic atomizers are operating in a quite different manner in two steps;
The first step is to direct and inject the liquid towards to high-speed air where the first atomization of the liquid occurs. This two-phase mix proceeds into the field of sound waves that is generated by the resonator located in front of the orifice. The sound wave zone creates the second break-up of the two-phase mix and the results in the extreme fine droplets at the range of 30 mµ.
The independent control of each fluid enables the user to apply the spray according to necessities. The typical examples are to spray fragrance and precise humidification control.

Gas cooling can be achieved by standard full or hollow cone nozzles. The types mentioned in this section are the gas cooling nozzles which are used for the applications where the sprayed water or liquid is requested to be evaporated 100% in a certain reaction length.
Such nozzles are combined with special lances that enable the return of the liquid back to the water tank by the help of return flow valve. That's why these nozzles and lances are called as return flow or spillback. The spray formation is hollow cone which helps to create maximum contact surface in between the hot gas and the sprayed liquid.
FTR designs manufactures and erects the gas cooling systems especially for gas cooling towers in the cement plants. These systems are presented under our own brand COOLING CONTROL®

Gas cooling can be achieved by standard full or hollow cone nozzles. The types mentioned in this section are the gas cooling nozzles which are used for the applications where the sprayed water or liquid is requested to be evaporated 100% in a certain reaction length. The difference of the low-pressure gas cooling nozzles is that there is no return flow like in high-pressure type, and the liquid and compressed air are used at the same time in order to break the liquid into possible finest droplets. The reaction length for full evaporation is shorter in this case due to the fact that the droplets are smaller than that of high-pressure version.
FTR designs manufactures and erects the gas cooling systems especially for gas cooling towers in the cement plants. These systems are presented under our own brand COOLING CONTROL®.

AKIMist® ve AKIMist®''E'' mist humidification units are the most effective and quality single body misting units in the world. They can be used in closed or open ambient that the sprayed water don't make wet the surface when the finely sprayed droplets hit the substrate. For this reason, these units are used safely in the rooms where electronic devices are available in. The patented design keeps all necessary parts on its compact body. There is no need to use a pump during spray process and all needed is a small amount of compressed air.
The units are plug and play structure ready to use. The sprayed droplets can reach up to 4 meters distance in a form which evaporates fast and the humidity level is increased. It can also help to remove the static electricity in the ambient air.

Due to its small orifice, it can develop very fine mist even at low pressures. It can reduce the open air ambient temperature about 5° to 10° celsius in summer times. Since the droplets are quite fine, it doesn't get wet the surface the droplets hit. It is recommended to use high mesh value line filters in the feed line in order to protect the nozzles against clogging. The typical places of use are gardens or restaurants, beaches and open areas where the air temperature is requested at lower.

The disinfection nozzles' internal structure was designed to generate droplets in microns of the disinfection solution. The anti-drip property is achieved by internal mini check-valve that prevents any drops after shutting off the spray operation. The internal strainer inside the nozzle body secures any possible impurities against clogging, therefore a line filter is not needed to install. All these properties are not available in the brass material ambient humidification nozzles working at higher pressures.

Theze nozzles are most suitable ones for disinfection cabinets, tunnels to fight against bacteria and virus.

THE MIXING EDUCTORS
Mixing eductors are extremely ideal components for continuous agitating, blending and stirring of liquids or solutions in the tanks.  The Venturi design assures a high mixing efficiency that the liquid pumped from the supply line increases at the value of 5 times while passing through the eductor by sucking the present liquid from the side-openings.
Therefore total available flow circulation inside the tank reaches up to 5 times higher than the liquid pumped.

The mixing eductors are an efficient way to get the best performance from re-circulating process tanks and are cost-effective because they reduce the electrical costs.

The typical places of use are electroplating, automotive, painting, chemical plants, cataphoretic process as well as enviromental industry.
